The owners of Pro-Tech Automotive are Lantz and Erik Herman. Lantz moved to Florida in 1992 and has been an ASE certified master technician for more than 20 years. He is also ASE certified as an advanced engine performance and under car specialist. Lantz currently serves as lead technician as well as general manager for the Mandarin location. Erik served in the Navy from 1987 to 1993 and started his professional career as a power generation systems technician for Westinghouse in 1993. They partnered to purchase their first automotive shop in 1998 which still serves the Jacksonville north beaches area under Erik's management today. 

Our Mandarin store opened in the spring of 2004, and the service writer at that location is Earl, who helped open this facility. He holds several ASE certifications and is a customer favorite due to is easy-going local personality.


Tom has been with us for several years and recieved his ASE Master certification this year. Tom performs a majority of the heavy repair work along with computer and electronic diagnostics for our customers.
